KARELIA KLUBI TABLOID
Karelia Klubi -tabloid has been a predecessor of Karjalan Kuvalehti. It has handled in its 20 issues from many sides Karelia, the Karelian issue and other political matters which relate to these issues. The format of Karelia Klubi is a tabloid. After a detailed consideration we came to the conclusion that the magazine type publication gives much wider possibilities to handle the focus matters. Thre are some older issues of Karelia Klubi at disposal as printed version in Karelia Klubi Kauppa (Karelia Klubi Shop) in Lappeenranta. KARELIA KLUBI RY
Karelia Klubi ry (a registrated foundation) has been established in 2004. It had at the end of 2009 about 2,300 members. The amount of members is increasing. The club promotes by its activities the solving of the Karelian issue, the abrogation of the war guilt of some Finnish political leaders and stopping the political silence. Karelia Klubi ry, Pro Karelia ry and Karjalan Kuvalehti operate in a seamless cooperation. The club is mainly the operative organization and Pro Karelia is an informing and lobbying NGO. |
