Pro Karelia ry is an NGO, its focus is the return of the ceded territories which the Soviet Union took after the II World War.
The return is necessary to build trust and real cooperation basis between the countries. The return shall happen reacefully, by negotiations and on a win-win basis.

The Soviet Union ceded from Finland because of the latest wars about 45,000 km2 territory: Peschenga, eastern parts of Salla and Kuusamo, Ladoga Karelia, Karelian Isthmus and some islands in the Gulf of Finland.
